DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Plan, organise, control and manage the electrical, instrumentation and automation system in by leading a group of competent staff to achieve the production targets.

b. Maintains electrical and instrument systems by establishing and enforcing preventive and on-going maintenance, scheduling repair, coordinating shutdowns with production and installation.

c. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.

d. Provides engineering support and training to electrical staff by ensuring adequate skill, knowledge and safe system of work.

e. Conducts in-depth technical investigation, recommending and implementing solutions to eradicate electrical, instrumentation and automation system problems.

f. Ensure the electrical and instrument system are effectively maintain and functioning with the minimum maintenance and operation cost.

g. Manages, controls and motivates electrical staff to build an effective team with high morale.

h. Meeting with electrical supervising engineer to ensure the electrical appliance including HT & LT substations and installation is operating and maintained in compliance with health and safety legislation in accordance to Electricity Rules & Regulations and Suruhanjaya Tenaga Requirements.

i. Implements Total Quality Management programmer to achieve company quality targets and standard.

j. Ensure calibration program of all weighers and instrumentation equipment related to GMP and HACCP are carry out comply with the schedule, and equipment are effectively maintain.

k. Responsible for the achievement of department productivity and target (KPI).

h. Liaise with government authority agencies in licensing, audits and Electrical inspection such as TNB and Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.
