Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily purchasing activities to ensure optimal quality, timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with a team of executives to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Plan and execute supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Conduct thorough spend analysis to identify trends, opportunities for savings and areas for improvement in procurement processes.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities through strategic sourcing and develop strategies to achieve annual savings targets.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate better pricing and terms while maintaining quality standards.
- Analyze market trends to anticipate price fluctuations and implement strategies to mitigate impacts.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop sustainable sourcing strategies for alternative materials and services, reducing the organization’s carbon footprint.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
Job Specifications:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Studies/Administration/ Engineering/Logistics or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years in related field.
- Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM), Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA).
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, with a strong understanding of industry-specific procurement challenges, is an added advantage.
