Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing client inquiries, preparing quotations, preparing project/job costings, and providing sales reporting to support business operations and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for fire protection systems and related services.
• Handle client inquiries and provide technical consultation regarding fire protection solutions and system requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotations, tenders, proposals, and project/job costings based on client requirements and technical specifications.
• Conduct site visits, technical discussions, and product presentations to clients, consultants, contractors, and building owners.
• Recommend suitable fire safety solutions, including fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, hose reel systems, fire doors, and building maintenance services.
• Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while continuously expanding the customer base.
• Follow up on quotations, negotiations, and project status to secure sales opportunities and achieve sales targets.
• Ensure all proposed solutions comply with BOMBA requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare sales reports, project updates, and related documentation as required by the Management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in sales, technical sales, or fire protection industry will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in fire protection systems such as fire alarm systems, hose reel systems, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and related services will be preferred.
• Able to prepare quotations, project/job costings, and technical proposals independently.
• Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical technical solutions to clients.
• Able to work independently, proactive, and result-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for site visits and client meetings.
• Familiarity with BOMBA requirements and local fire safety regulations will be an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
