Position Title: Chemical Engineering Internship (Foaming / Compounding Process)
Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated Bachelor Degree students in Chemical Engineering or related fields to join our manufacturing team as interns, specifically supporting the Foaming and Compounding process area. This internship offers hands-on exposure to chemical manufacturing operations, process monitoring, material mixing, production troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities within a production environment.
Interns will gain practical experience in process control, production efficiency, quality assurance, and manufacturing safety while working closely with the engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers and production personnel in daily foaming and compounding operations
- Support process monitoring, parameter recording, and production data collection
- Assist in raw material preparation, mixing, and process verification activities
- Participate in process improvement and waste reduction initiatives
- Support troubleshooting of production and process-related issues
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP), safety requirements, and quality standards
- Assist in preparing production reports, process documentation, and operational records
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams on operational activities and improvement projects
Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering fields
- Basic understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, mixing, compounding, or production operations
- Knowledge in process control, quality systems, or manufacturing safety practices is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing or production environment
