Position Title: Mechanical Drafter

Department: R&D / Engineering Department

Reports To: Product Design Engineer / RND & Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The Mechanical Drafter is responsible for preparing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOM documentation for construction machinery and agricultural equipment. The role supports engineering and production teams by converting engineering concepts into accurate manufacturing drawings.

Job Responsibilities

· Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar software.

· Create fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, exploded views, and sheet metal drawings.

· Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM).

· Update engineering drawing revisions and technical documentation.

· Coordinate with production and engineering teams regarding drawing clarification.

· Assist engineers in prototype development and design improvements.

· Ensure drawings comply with company standards and manufacturing requirements.

· Support ERP system updates related to engineering documentation.

· Maintain drawing database and revision control system.

Job Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, CAD/CAM, Drafting Technology, or related field.

· Minimum 1–3 years working experience in mechanical drafting or manufacturing industry.

· Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (preferred).

· Knowledge of fabrication drawing, welding symbols, and sheet metal drawing.

· Understanding of BOM structure and manufacturing process.

· Good understanding of GD&T is an advantage.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.
