Role Description

As our Accountant, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations. We need a sharp, proactive accountant keen to make a big impact to keep our finances in check and help us make data-driven decisions. You will report directly to our COO & CFO.

What You'll Do

Manage and reconcile accounts, transactions, and payments across multiple eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, PayPal, Stripe, etc.)

Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax filings with high attention to detail

Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities to optimize profitability

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Work closely with our operations and marketing teams to streamline processes and support business growth

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in eCommerce, retail or startups
• Strong knowledge of Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting
• Proficiency with Accounting Software, Excel, and Financial Management tools
• Experience in Tax Compliance, Budget Management, and Audit Preparation
• Analytical skills to assess financial data and prepare detailed reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—able to spot trends and discrepancies fast
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA certifications are advantageous
• Prior experience as an accountant, preferably in consumer goods or e-commerce, is a plus
• A proactive, can-do attitude-you're not just about numbers, you're about making an impact
