The Sales Executive/Engineer serves as the primary technical point of contact for customers, combining engineering knowledge with commercial acumen to drive sales of Array Metal's cable support system products — including cable trays, cable ladders, cable cleats, and perforated panels. The role involves preparing accurate technical quotations, responding to engineering enquiries, and supporting M&E consultants and EPC contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue detailed technical quotations based on customer specifications, project drawings, and bill of quantities (BQ)
- Respond to engineering queries from customers regarding product selection, load ratings, material specifications, and installation requirements
- Review project drawings and specifications to recommend suitable cable support system solutions
- Liaise with the internal engineering and production teams to ensure quoted solutions are technically feasible and deliverable
- Coordinate with the production team on order status and advise customers on lead times and delivery scheduling
- Track and manage all open orders to ensure on-time fulfilment and customer satisfaction
- Support vendor prequalification submissions and technical documentation for project tenders
- Maintain and develop relationships with M&E consultants, EPC contractors, and distributors
- Assist in the preparation of technical submittals, material approval requests (MAR), and product datasheets when required
