We are looking for a hands-on Pastry Chef (commis/ demi/ CDP) to support daily production in our central kitchen. This role involves working across multiple sections including pastry, bakery, and cookies, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in all products prepared for our outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily food preparation across pastry, bakery, and cookies sections
• Follow recipes, SOPs, and production schedules set by senior chefs
• Support in measuring, mixing, baking, and assembling products
• Ensure all products meet company standards in taste, texture, and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at all times
• Handle basic equipment and tools safely and correctly
• Support packing and preparation for delivery to outlets
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Assist in stock handling, ingredient storage, and inventory control
• Be flexible to rotate between different sections based on operational needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience (pastry/bakery experience is a plus)
• Fresh graduates or entry-level candidates with culinary training are welcome
• Willing to learn and work in different kitchen sections
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Able to work early shifts (production environment)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
