Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import & Export Executives with strong knowledge of supply chain operations.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing international shipments, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, and coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders to support efficient end-to-end supply chain processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Import & Export Operations
- Manage and coordinate all import and export activities, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking
- Prepare and review shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any delays or issues
2. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of import/export transactions and documentation
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and trade requirements
3. Supply Chain Coordination
- Collaborate with factory, procurement, warehouse, sales and logistics teams to align shipment schedules with inventory needs.
- Support demand and supply planning and inventory control activities.
- Analyze shipping costs and suggest improvements to optimize supply chain efficiency
4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding shipment status and documentation requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare regular reports on shipment status, costs, and performance metrics
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in import/export operations or supply chain/logistics role
- Strong understanding of international trade procedures and documentation
- Knowledge of supply chain processes (procurement, inventory, distribution)
- Familiarity with Incoterms and customs regulations
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP/logistics systems
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
