Seeking an HR Specialist to support the Malaysia Sales Office. This role will act as a key HR partner to the Territory Manager – Indochina while overseeing day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate should possess solid knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, payroll processes, recruitment practices, employee relations, and basic Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers and employees by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support workforce planning, employee engagement initiatives, and performance management processes.
- Handle employee relations matters and support a positive working environment.
- Manage daily HR operations, including onboarding, probation reviews, confirmation processes, and offboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure documentation complies with local regulations and company policies.
- Support HR reporting, audits, and internal compliance activities.
- Keep updated with Malaysian employment legislation and recommend policy improvements when necessary.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing/screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding arrangements.
- Lead, coordinate, and support HR initiatives and projects aligned with business objectives.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)
- Act as the main coordination point for workplace safety matters.
- Support workplace safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
- Facilitate hazard reporting and ensure incidents or safety concerns are properly documented and addressed.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.

- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and employment regulations.
- Good understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance.
- Experience in recruitment, HR operations, and employee relations.
- Exposure to EHS or workplace safety processes will be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* This position is offered on a one-year fixed-term contract
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,200.00 per month
