About the Role

As MSB Digital E-Commerce lead, you will lead a high-performance team to drive Malaysia overall digital transformation strategy, including digital commerce, digital capability building and digital innovation. The role will also help to set up MSB market as our digital & digital commerce hub that exports best practices in all regions.


A Day in the Life (What you’lldo)

Ecommerce

  • Start-up ecommerce task force for Haleon MSB working closely with teams in local markets- brand marketing, finance, supply chain, external media agency and e-distributor.
  • Construct annual digital transformation strategy and adapt global & regional digital initiatives
  • to align with Malaysia Haleon vision, promote and realize the plan to build organizational digital mindset and adapt new ways of working.
  • Monitor externally industry digital landscape evaluating new trends and crafting a long-term
  • sustainable digital growth strategy and innovation.
  • Evaluate the macro and microenvironment and consumer/shopper behaviours to develop
  • omnichannel GTM strategy and optimize O+O opportunity as part of marketing mix.
  • Provide inputs to stakeholders on Multi-Channel (MC) initiatives including comparing/contrasting company MC vision with competitors and mobilizing stakeholders to
  • take necessary actions, training, and plans.
  • Define lead and lag Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and set MC targets for tracking
  • performance vs. targets.
  • Leverage MC analytics and performance measurement by monitoring monthly MC data and
  • channel figures into insightful actions to enhance KPIs.
  • Identify MC opportunities for each brand giving inputs to Area Management and generating
  • best practices for Local Operating Company.
  • Routinely communicate MC performance outcomes with marketers and support them based
  • on outcomes.


Digital Capability

  • Identify MSB employees’ digital capability needs and design customized curriculums to build a digital-savvy organization.
  • Develop ways of working, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and capability trainings for
  • Multi-Channel Marketing.
  • Nurture internal digital sales and marketing high potential talents into digital experts who can integrate digital mindset and innovation into relevant projects.


Digital Innovation

  • Coach brand managers and generate digital innovation ideas and best practice MC programs
  • focusing on the global MC priorities.
  • Collaborate with external partners (i.e. Google, Facebook, media agency and eRetailers…etc)
  • to come up with digital innovation ideas to conduct breakthrough experiments and drive
  • brand growth levers.


Digital Enablers’ Development

  • Adapt global and regional digital frameworks and emerging tech/digital industry to lead the creation of growth-enabling digital tools.
  • Optimize performance marketing, media, digital ecosystems, and infrastructure.
  • Manage data strategy, from acquisition to storage and generation, including CRM and Loyalty Programs.


Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise we need:

  • We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor’s degree in BA or equivalent major. MBA is a plus.
  • Project management experience in a commercial setting involving in either large scale or in complexity or both large-scale and complexity in digital commerce (or e-commerce) and proven track-record on digital-related or e-com achievements.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven Success: If you have a track record of achieving both top-line (GMV/NMV) and bottom-line (profit) results through strategic investments, we want to hear from you.
  • Marketing Expertise: We need someone with a deep understanding of multi-channel marketing strategies and commercialization across different channels.
  • Industry Insight: In today's fast-paced commercial world, having a grasp of industry perspectives is essential.
  • Influence and Communication: Your ability to influence, even without formal authority, is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
