Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring and health checks of Nutanix clusters, nodes, and virtualized environments.
• Provide L2/L3 support for incidents, service requests, and problem management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Nutanix AHV, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Execute routine maintenance activities including patching, upgrades, and firmware updates.
• Manage and maintain virtual machines (VM provisioning, migration, snapshot, backup, restore).
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure backup and disaster recovery processes are functioning effectively.
• Work closely with vendors/principals for escalation and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and incident reports.
• Support capacity planning and ensure infrastructure scalability.
• Participate in on-call support and respond to critical incidents as required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Must have Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP-MCI) or equivalent.
• VMware / Microsoft certifications (added advantage).
• 2–5 years of experience in infrastructure support, preferably with Nutanix environment.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV, AOS, Prism (Element/Central).
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and HCI architecture.
• Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and system monitoring tools.
• Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS) and storage concepts.
• Experience with Windows/Linux server administration is an added advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
