This role supports the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day project activities, including planning, progress tracking, and issue escalation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing technical documentation, ensuring compliance with QA/QC, SHE standards, and project specifications. They will also monitor project performance, risks, and subcontractor work, while ensuring quality delivery within budget and timelines. The role includes client engagement, testing and validation of deliverables, and supporting project claims and payment follow-ups to ensure successful project completion and closure.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager in daily project management activities and escalate progress, issues, and action plans to management.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (work programs, functional specifications, method statements) from project start to closure.
- Ensure compliance with technical documentation, QA/QC standards, SHE policies, and performance requirements.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and regulations.
- Monitor project plans, progress, and risks, and implement mitigation actions to reduce project delays or issues.
- Oversee testing, quality control, and project deliverables to ensure they meet agreed specifications, budget, and timelines.
- Engage with clients, manage project claims, and follow up on payments while ensuring project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Possess a recognized Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience in project management.
- Experience with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to understand health and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
This role is a 1-year contract.
