The CCTV Control Officer is responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining the organization’s CCTV systems to ensure safety, security, and compliance.
This role involves real-time surveillance, incident reporting and coordination with security and emergency response teams.
Key Responsibilities
- CCTV Monitoring: Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
- Incident Response: Record, report, and escalate incidents to the Security Manager or relevant authorities.
- Evidence Management: Secure and archive video footage for investigations, audits, or legal purposes.
- System Maintenance: Conduct routine checks to ensure CCTV equipment is functioning properly; liaise with vendors for repairs.
- Reporting: Prepare daily surveillance logs and incident reports for management review.
- Coordination: Work closely with security guards, emergency response teams, and facility management to ensure a safe environment.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Certificate in Security Management, IT, or related field.
- Prior experience in security operations or CCTV monitoring preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert during long monitoring shifts.
- Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and PDPA compliance.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
