The Baker Commis supports the bakery team in daily preparation and production of baked goods while maintaining quality, consistency, and cleanliness standards. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about baking and eager to learn in a hands-on artisan bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily preparation and production of breads, pastries, and bakery items
• Support senior bakers in mixing, shaping, baking, and packing processes
• Prepare ingredients and maintain organized workstation setup
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Follow recipes, production guidelines, and food safety procedures
• Assist with stock arrangement and ingredient handling
• Support opening, closing, and general kitchen duties
• Work closely with the bakery team to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Passion for baking and willingness to learn
• Basic bakery or kitchen experience is an advantage, but not compulsory
• Positive attitude and able to work in a team environment
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to follow instructions
• Able to work in fast-paced production environment
• Willing to work early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays
