Job Summary

Landas Aerotech Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary company of IO Setia Ventures Sdn Bhd, is based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. The Business Development Executive in the aviation industry is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic approach to market analysis, proposal development, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met while promoting the company’s aviation products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the aviation sector, including airlines, MROs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), OEMs, and aviation service providers.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to maximise customer retention and upselling opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, new products, and potential opportunities for business expansion.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, sales presentations, and quotations tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, engineering, and operations to ensure solutions meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, seminars, and networking sessions to promote company products and services and enhance market presence.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare reports on sales activities, and provide management with insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Support the negotiation of contracts, pricing agreements, and partnership deals in compliance with company policies.
  • Stay updated on aviation industry regulations, standards, and technological advancements to advise clients and internal teams effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aerospace, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the aviation or aerospace industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to a dynamic and competitive industry.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations, maintenance operations, and industry standards is an advantage.
