Job Description – Accounts Executive / Senior Executive (Property Development)


We are seeking a meticulous, hands-on, and experienced accounts professional to oversee the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations within the property development industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and experience in property development accounting, including profit recognition and tax computation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage group consolidated accounts accurately and within reporting timelines.
  • Review and oversee monthly full sets of accounts for property development projects.
  • Supervise and guide subordinates in daily accounting operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Handle yearly tax estimation and revision exercises, including CP204 and CP204A submissions.
  • Perform monthly closing of full sets of accounts with strong understanding of property development accounting standards, profit recognition, and tax computation.
  • Monitor and manage company banking facilities, financing arrangements, and related documentation.
  • Liaise closely with the Sales Administration Department on daily collections and cash flow updates.
  • Coordinate and maintain professional relationships with bankers, auditors, tax agents, and project managers on finance-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations, and internal control procedures.
  • Support management with financial analysis, reporting, and strategic financial planning when required.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum [5] years of relevant working experience, preferably in property development or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of property development accounting, tax computation, and profit recognition.
  • Experience in handling group consolidation and full set accounts independently.
  • Good leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Proficient in IFCA accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
