To be successful in this role, you will need to have:-
• 3 - 5 years in any Material related field or In Tape and Adhesive industry and more advantageous if the candidate is experienced in medical material related sector.
• Bachelor Degree in any related field

Technical
• Basic material knowledge includes understanding the properties, behavior such as physical, chemical, mechanical, and thermal characteristics and applications of various polymeric materials.
• Basic MS. Excel’s skill includes understanding the Excel’s functions and formulas.

Non-Technical
• Analytical skills
• Flexible and the ability to adapt to change
• Meticulous and commercial awareness

We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team.
You will play an important role in:-
- Collaborate with technical marketing, sales and engineers to ensure materials meet technical and quality standards, advise on material-related problems during product design phase, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure material compliance.

1. Planning and execution
   • Providing materials’ technical expertise: Customize material solutions, solves complex customer problems, recommend suitable materials for specific applications or projects, taking into account factors such as performance requirements, cost-effectiveness, and availability.
   • Establish training materials and material case studies: To provide in depth, powerful social proof, real-world results of a material to build credibility and trust by showcase our expertise.
   • Cataloging Materials: Identify, categorize and record information about different types of material including their properties, specifications and manufacturers.
   • Maintain Materials’ Database: Oversee the maintenance of a comprehensive database which contain information about materials, ensuring that is up-to-date and easily accessible to users.
   
2. Mid-to-long term strategic planning (if applicable)
   - Involve in Malaysia Group’s material management process which optimize operational efficiency, minimizing costs and enhancing customer satisfaction by using technology and data-driven decision-making. Activities includes the below:
   • Collaborate with Malaysia’s procurement team to identify and commonize those materials to purchase in bulk and identify suppliers which we can develop and maintain strong relationships to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement in quality and cost.
   • Collaborate with Malayia’s engineering and sales team by supporting their projects and initiatives in providing material-related information or developing new materials to improve customer’s products with innovative material technologies.
   • Stay informed about new materials emerging in the market, researching their properties, applications and potential benefits for Malaysia Group.
   • Conduct training sessions or workshops to educate employees about different types of materials, their characteristics, and proper usage, helping to improve overall material literacy within the organization.
