Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Engineer (Civil) based in Greater Kuala Lumpur area. The Project Engineer will oversee and manage construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include construction management, coordinating with stakeholders, conducting site inspections, managing resources, and addressing technical challenges. The Project Engineer will be required to conduct quality control checks and ensure that structural and civil engineering standards are followed throughout the project's lifecycle. The role is suitable for applicants with at least 4 years of construction management related experiences, however other applicants are encouraged to apply as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and plan daily site construction activities and subcontractor works

• Leadership in ensuring works carried out according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements

• Monitor site progress and report updates to the Project Manager

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical and site matters

• Assist in preparing site reports, work progress reports, and documentation

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site safety procedures

• Support quality control inspections and ensure works meet required standards

• Proactively managing material planning, site logistics, and coordination of resources

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management related discipline

• At least 4 year of construction site experience preferred (others are welcome to apply)

• Experienced in civil engineering works such as drainage, earthworks, roadworks, or structural works

• Proactive in risk management, identifying variation and construction planning

• Experienced in reading construction drawings and technical documents

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Willing to work on project sites

• Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage
