We are looking for Construction Manager focusing on housing construction to help in our expanding business activities.

    < CONSTRUCTION MANAGER BASED IN KUANTAN**>

    Responsibilities: :

• Project Planning & Monitoring, follow-up & prepare report on work site progress work closely with Project Manager on co-ordination & planning for work

• Oversee and manage the projects from commencement to completion of the projects and ensure the datelines are met.

• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs

• Meet contractual conditions of performance

• Review the work progress on daily basis

• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors

• Control the use of site resources and overall project cost & also monitor and control wastage on site

• Meet contractual performance and track the work progress on daily basis.

• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status

• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks

• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction technique

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field

• Proven working experience in construction management

• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods

• Understanding of all facets of the construction process

• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”

• Competent in conflict and crisis management

• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

• Leadership and human resources management skills

• Excellent time and project management skills

• Willing to work outstation

• Willing to travel due to project needs
