We are looking for a creative and digitally native Junior Social Media Executive to support TRAVELOG’s content and social media efforts. You will assist in creating engaging content, managing daily social activities, and learning how to grow brand presence across platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves travel, storytelling, and wants to build a career in social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Assist in developing original, engaging content (graphics, short videos, captions) under the guidance of senior team members

  • Write compelling copy for social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and destination features – with review and feedback from senior team members.

  • Use Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Express to create basic graphics, animations, and short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, XHS content).

  • Ensure all content follows TRAVELOG’s brand guidelines, tone of voice, and campaign objectives.

Social Media Management & Optimization

  • Help manage and schedule daily posts for TRAVELOG’s social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, XiaoHongShu).

  • Assist in preparing basic performance reports using platform analytics (Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, XHS analytics).

  • Stay updated on emerging social trends, tools, and algorithms, applying them proactively.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing team to support social media campaigns (e.g., asset gathering, scheduling, posting).

  • Coordinate with sales and product teams to collect visual assets and information for social content.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and audience engagement.

Project & Workflow Management

  • Help maintain the content calendar and ensure posts are delivered on time.

  • Manage simple content projects (e.g., a weekly Instagram carousel or TikTok series) with supervision.

  • Support campaign planning by organizing files, drafting captions, and preparing visual assets.

Performance Tracking

  • Track basic metrics (reach, likes, shares, saves, comments) using native analytics tools.

  • Flag high-performing or underperforming posts to the senior team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Design, or related field.

  • at least 6 months to 1 year of proven experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.

  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, or equivalent design tools.

  • Active user of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and XiaoHongShu with understanding of basic best practices

  • Ability to craft content that connects emotionally and drives action.

  • Passion for travel/tourism and an eye for storytelling through words, visuals, and video.

  • Detail-oriented with strong design/aesthetic sense and commitment to brand consistency.

  • Independent, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
