Position Title: Business Development Assistant Manager/Manager
The Business Development person will play a key role in driving sales growth and market expansion for our innovative green construction materials. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships and promoting the adoption of biochar-based cement and brick products to hardware stores, trading houses and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and market penetration for eco-friendly building materials.
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships — including hardware stores, trading houses and developers.
- Work closely with the R&D team to translate technical innovations into marketable solutions.
- Present technical and commercial proposals, including cost-benefit analyses and environmental advantages of biochar-based materials.
- Manage the sales pipeline, prepare forecasts, and monitor performance metrics.
- Oversee the full sales cycle — from lead generation to contract negotiation and project handover.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Supply Chain, Finance, and Production to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical presentations to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or technical marketing within the cement, concrete, or building materials industry.
- Strong technical understanding of cementitious or architectural materials, including sustainable or innovative products.
