Join Tekmark and work on live broadcast & OTT streaming systems that power real-world media delivery. We’re looking for a hands-on Broadcast Engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting live services, and working with modern broadcast and OTT technologies. If you have experience with on-prem broadcast systems and understand OTT streaming workflows, we’d love to talk to you.

What you’ll do

• Support and maintain on-prem broadcast systems, including: Harmonic (encoders, multiplexers, processing systems) & Telestream (monitoring, analysis, or related systems)
• Analyze and resolve audio & video issues, such as: Audio levels, codecs, lip-sync, Video formats, compression, artifacts, and quality problems
• Monitor and troubleshoot live and VOD broadcast services to ensure uninterrupted delivery
• Support OTT end-to-end workflow, including: Ingest → Encoding → Packaging → Origin → CDN delivery, Streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, etc.)
• Work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve incidents
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and operational improvements
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and incident reports

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in broadcast engineering or related technical roles
• Strong hands-on experience with on-prem broadcast systems, especially: Harmonic, Telestream
• Solid knowledge of audio and video fundamentals, including: Codecs, bitrates, formats, transport streams
• Audio/video synchronization and quality standards
• Good understanding of OTT streaming architecture and workflows
• Experience supporting live broadcast environments and troubleshooting under pressure
• Basic understanding of networking concepts IP, multicast, unicast, firewalls, latency)

Added Advantage (Nice to Have)

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools, such as: New Relic, Conviva
• Familiarity with CDN operations and troubleshooting
• Experience with network analysis tools (probes, traffic analyzers)
• Exposure to QoE / QoS monitoring in OTT environments
• Knowledge of cloud-based streaming platforms is a plus

• Willing to support operations during incidents or off-hours if required
