Job Summary

As a Boilerman you will be responsible for the execution of the full spectrum of Boiler related duties for CEPCO. Purpose is to ensure boiler run smooth and schedule maintenance for boiler done.

Job Responsibilities

• To operate the steam boiler to achieve the required pressure and temperatures pressure and temperatures respectively.
• To perform daily checks on a boiler’s motor, pump, fan and other related valves and fitting to ensure that all the equipment are running in good order (Total Preventive Maintenance).
• Periodically service boiler.
• To up keep good housekeeping (5S) at the boiler’s premise and ensure that the fireman are entrusted with jobs to maintain and sustain the required pressure and temperature at the boiler.

Job Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in boiler operation within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Valid Boilerman Certification (Grade 1 / Grade 2 / Steam Boiler Certificate)
• Strong understanding of boiler operation principles, steam systems, and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of water treatment and boiler chemical handling.
• Ability to read gauges, logs, and basic technical instruments.
• Good attention to detail and strong commitment to safety.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, or on-call duties when required.

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
