Job Summary

As a Fitter you will be responsible for measuring and constructing components out of raw materials through cutting, shaping and grinding in CEPCO.

Job Responsibilities

• Assembling fabricated components into a larger machine or system
• Complying with operation, safety and maintenance procedures.
• Understanding and interpreting diagrams, blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the sequence of operations.
• Operating specialised equipment
• Performing regular maintenance and repair work and conducting diagnostic test to determine the root of problems.
• Monitoring the fabrication and assembly process.
• Replacing damaged or defective components.
• Adhering to other overall on-site regulations.

Job Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting, or related technical field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Fitter in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, or emergency call-outs when required.

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
