To assist the Senior Vice President – Compliance, Risk, and Operations (SVP-CRO) in executing all Compliance, Risk, and Operations-related tasks for the MVNO Business.
Responsibilities :
Compliance & Risk
- Assist in ensuring the MVNO business complies with MCMC regulations, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements at all times.
- Support the review and enhancement of compliance, risk, and data protection frameworks, including SOPs, policies, and reporting mechanisms.
- Conduct compliance audits, identify operational and regulatory risks, and recommend corrective actions or process improvements.
- Coordinate compliance-related training, awareness programs, and support the handling of data protection queries, complaints, and risk reporting.
- Assist in preparing compliance reports, statistics, and managing compliance-related projects such as Business Continuity Plans.
Regulatory:
- Support all regulatory matters related to the MVNO business and ensure timely submission of reports and documentation to MCMC.
- Monitor and highlight any regulatory non-compliance, irregularities, or process weaknesses to management for escalation and corrective action.
- Extract, analyze, and investigate operational or regulatory data irregularities together with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain proper record-keeping and document retention in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in reviewing stakeholder compliance with MCMC guidelines, Competition Act, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption policies.
Operations:
- Ensure customer onboarding and screening processes are conducted in compliance with MCMC guidelines and internal procedures.
- Work closely with sales and frontline teams to improve operational processes, products, and customer service standards.
- Support the management and resolution of customer requests and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain and review operational SOPs, manuals, and process documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct audits on SIM pack and POSM inventory, distribution processes, and support overall operational reporting and activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, Telecommunications, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in Compliance, Regulatory, Risk, Operations, or Telecommunications industry.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of MCMC regulations, PDPA requirements, and regulatory compliance practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to manage documentation and reporting effectively.
