Already have solid IT support experience and want to move into

deeper infrastructure & systems troubleshooting

This L2 role is for engineers who enjoy solving the harder tickets that go beyond basic helpdesk support.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Take ownership of complex tickets escalated from L1

Troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory & Group Policy

Support DNS, DHCP, file/print services

Administer Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace as assigned

Support firewall & VPN configuration

Perform server patching and maintenance

Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues

Support VMware / Hyper-V environments

Perform backup & restore operations

Triage basic EDR / security alerts

Support Azure / AWS environments where required

Prepare RCA, technical reports & handover documentation

Coordinate with vendors and application support teams

REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent

3–6 years IT / infrastructure / systems support experience

Good knowledge of Windows Server & Active Directory

Understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN & firewall concepts

Experience with Microsoft 365 administration is an advantage

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Able to work independently and follow change-control procedures

Nice to have:
Azure Fundamentals, Network+, Security+, ITIL or PowerShell/Bash scripting experience.
