Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the company’s finance and accounting operations in Malaysia. The role will have broad responsibilities covering treasury and cash management, accounting, tax, management planning, and business support, while working closely with the local management team and Korea Headquarters.

Job Description

• Oversee the finance and accounting functions in Malaysia, including treasury, cash management, accounting, tax, and financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis to support business decisions.
• Lead management planning and provide financial insights and business support to the Managing Director.
• Liaise closely with Korea Headquarters on financial reporting, budgeting, consolidation, and business matters.
• Oversee and optimise ERP-related finance processes.
• Manage and develop the local finance team while ensuring strong internal controls and statutory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification is an advantage.
• 3-5 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in an MNC environment.
• Strong experience in treasury, accounting, tax, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with overseas HQ.
• Korean language ability / understanding of Korean is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
