Responsibilities:
Preventive maintenance and corrective repair works on packaging equipment, conveying systems, electrical systems and automation systems among various stakeholders
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, PLC, HMI, and automation-related issues to minimize operational downtime.
Support engineering projects from conceptualization through implementation and commissioning.
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures, operational disruptions, and technical incidents.
Technical improvement initiatives.
Participate in site visits, audits, and project discussions to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI reports, and management reporting tools using platforms.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations, company safety policies, and operational procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures before maintenance, project, or engineering activities.
Monitor maintenance consumables, spare parts inventory, and equipment requirements.
Assist in preparing technical specifications, obtaining quotations, and evaluating vendor proposals.
Support cost control initiatives and maintenance resources.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Technical Manager.
Job Requirements:
Possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent discipline
Min 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance, automation, manufacturing, or process plant environments.
Hands-on experience with PLC and industrial automation systems is preferred.
Experience managing maintenance contractors and project activities.
