Responsibilities
Provide engineering support for structural steel construction projects.
Coordinate and supervise structural steel fabrication, delivery, erection and installation works.
Review structural drawings, shop drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
Monitor project progress, quality and technical compliance.
Assist with site inspections, measurements, testing and rectification works.
Identify and resolve technical and site issues.
Prepare method statements, technical submissions, reports and project documentation.
Ensure structural steel works comply with approved drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in structural steel construction preferred.
Good knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding, bolting and erection works.
Able to read and understand structural and construction drawings.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant engineering software is an advantage.
Good technical, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project and site teams.
Willing to work on construction sites when required.
