Position: Intermediate Interior Designer

Working Days: Monday – Friday

SBB Binajaya Sdn Bhd is looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our growing Design & Build team.

We are looking for someone who can confidently take a project from design concept through technical development and site execution, while working closely with the project and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, space planning and material selections

• Prepare mood boards, design presentations and client proposals

• Produce detailed drawings, layouts and construction documentation

• Prepare and coordinate 3D visualisations

• Attend client meetings, site visits and design coordination meetings

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants and the project team

• Review site conditions and ensure construction follows design intent

• Assist with material sourcing, specifications and sample submissions

• Manage design revisions and resolve design-related site issues

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture or related field

• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant interior design experience

• Good understanding of space planning, detailing, materials and construction methods

• Proficient in AutoCAD

• Proficiency in SketchUp / 3D rendering software is an advantage

• Able to prepare both presentation and technical drawings

• Comfortable attending construction sites and coordinating with project teams

• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Own transportation is preferred
