Job description

You will be responsible for supporting the team and taking responsibility for the overall design of solutions that meet the customer’s business environment and objectives while creating unique value propositions for the customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead in security systems/technology in development, engineering, software, and solutions.
• Perform security systems requirements review, installation, configuration, quality check, system operations & support documentation with procedures and checklists, performance tuning, capacity planning, project documentation and redundancy/continuity planning.
• Provide/conduct operations & technical training and workshops to the technical, sales, and customer/user team.
• Perform troubleshooting, technical investigations, root-cause resolution, liaison with vendors' technical team, integration work, and new technology development work.
• Design solutions, lead and manage projects directed towards a common objective
• Coordinate activities of the project teams through task delegation, resource assignment and program management.
• Review the cost, benefit, and risk of various technologies and solutions.
• Advise on specifications and review tender clarifications with the sales team.
• Study business challenges, develop solutions and engage customers for buy-in.
• Vendor/ Internal Team Management.
• Coordinate with the subject matter experts in various domains to ensure the solution fits the customer’s requirements.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Prepare and review alternatives on competitive offerings to justify technical suitability of the company’s products and services in meeting customers’ requirements.
• Deliver enablement sessions to team members to help articulate service offerings and solutions.
• Work with internal and external teams in assisting the delivery of the final solution, including advisory and support to system testing, procurement, budget control, and quality of solution.
• Responsible for providing product training, demonstrations, as well as technical support.
• Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical support and documentation to enable them to sell the product, as well as reviewing product data to ensure that the sales team is kept up to date on new developments.

Job Requirement:

• 3-5 Years’ experience and working knowledge in system integration and solutions design.
• Tertiary/ Specialised / Degree in ICT / Computer Science or related disciplines
• Experience in providing business solutions in security system configuration, application programming, and integration with third-party global security systems, such as LENEL/AMAG/Milestone/HIK VISION, etc., would be advantageous.
• Those with hands-on experience in IT /Security systems (Integrated Security Management, Card Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV) and who are currently employed in the security systems industry are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of Server Operating Systems (Windows), Database, Storage, Virtualization Software, Networking Concepts, and Security.
• Ability to work under time pressure, manage multiple tasks and maintain a positive and patient attitude.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of current technologies, tools, methodologies and industry trends in the country.
• Analytical, self-driven, and motivated to innovate and learn.
• Strong verbal communication (including presentation) and written communication skills (in English).
• Able to engage with senior management.
• Ultra-sensitive to deadlines and capable of good resource planning.
• A team player with great initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to think out of the box and is resourceful.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and motivate the team.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, positive attitude and teamwork
• Willing to work extended hours.
• Willing to travel and has own transport.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
