Role Description The Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pasir Gudang. The Engineer will support structural, piping, and mechanical projects by preparing designs, drawings, and technical documentation, and reviewing specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers, supervisors, and technicians, performing site inspections, monitoring work progress, and resolving technical issues that arise during fabrication, installation, and commissioning. The role involves participating in risk assessments, quality checks, and safety reviews, as well as contributing to project planning, scheduling, and reporting. The Engineer will also liaise with clients and vendors to clarify technical details and help optimize project cost, schedule, and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in structural, piping, and mechanical engineering, preferably with experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in engineering design tools and software (e.g., CAD applications) and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations applicable to oil and gas projects.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary project teams and engage with clients and vendors.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to make sound technical decisions under time and resource constraints.
• Ability to work on-site in Pasir Gudang and adapt to an industrial environment, including occasional fieldwork and inspections.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or related Engineering discipline; professional certification or registration is an advantage.
• Prior project experience in fabrication, installation, or maintenance in oil and gas facilities is beneficial.
