WTF IS SLINGSHOT 

Slingshot is a challenger agency for challenger brands, built by two content creators who believe social media is equal parts art and science. We're building Slingshot to be Singapore's most creative social media agency.  

We work with SMEs across a range of industries. We love working with businesses grounded in substance and rich with stories, and we love creating work for them that feels on-brand, unpredictable, and impactful. 

THE JOB 

We’re growing fast and looking for interns who are versatile, tasteful, and most importantly, creative.  

This intern will own almost end-to-end delivery of social content for multiple accounts. From inception, production, to delivery. They will have the ability to influence what gets produced, how it is produced and delivered all from day one (with our guidance of course). 

We want you to share ideas that should almost feel like sending a risky text to your ex. Ideas that get passed over in corporate because they think it’s not worth the risk. 

The ideal candidate is equal parts a consumer and producer of content. They understand that a successful social media strategy should not look or sound identical across multiple accounts. They know how to break down why something works and apply that in a novel context.  

This person will play a pivotal role not only in delivering impact to our accounts, but also in helping to shape how Slingshot will grow. They will work with our creative director to pitch, iterate, develop brand design systems, identify video formats and ideas that can be applied in novel contexts to reach the right audience without sacrificing brand essence. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Work with us to shape organic social media strategy for multiple accounts across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. This includes content pillars, posting schedule, and ideas behind each individual post. 
• Owning the social calendar. Prioritizing what goes out, scheduling, and publishing across platforms. 
• Adhere to a clear brand voice for each account. Knowing when to be playful, when to be serious, and when to stay out of the way. 
• Assist in planning and running shoots from start to finish. You don’t need to go to film school. If you’ve got a good eye and a willingness to learn, we’ll teach you the rest. 
• Edit short and long form videos in a manner that respects existing brand and style guidelines, with a feel for pacing, rhythm, and what makes people stop scrolling. 
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned. We’re a small team, things move fast.

AI 

We believe design and art should remain human. We use AI for back-end, repetitive work that no human should be wasting their time on.  

Qualifications: 

• Interest in Social media, brand strategy 
• A portfolio of your work, even an informal one. Send us your personal TikTok, an account you run, edits you've made, anything you're proud of. 
• Proficiency with the Adobe suite, especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. 
• A distinct point of view on what makes social media content useful, entertaining, credible, and worth sharing. 
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
