岗位职责
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical wiring, cables, switches, lighting, power distribution systems, and electrical equipment.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
Conduct electrical testing, inspection, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs and replacements.
Install and maintain electrical panels, distribution boards, control panels, and related equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
Assist with commissioning and testing of electrical installations and equipment.
Use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters safely and correctly.
Ensure electrical works comply with safety regulations, project specifications, and applicable Singapore standards.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other technicians during installation and maintenance works.
Maintain proper records of inspections, testing, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Identify potential electrical hazards and implement appropriate safety measures.
Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and safely used.
Follow workplace safety procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work requirements.
Perform other electrical-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements:
Relevant qualification or technical training in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Installation.
Practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and testing methods.
Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
Willing to work at construction/project sites and perform overtime when required.
