Job Description
Prepare cost estimates, tender documents, quotations and project budgets.
Review drawings, specifications, contracts and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Perform quantity take-offs and prepare material requirements.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Prepare progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
Monitor project costs, payments and cash flow.
Conduct site measurements and verify completed work.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Assist in contract administration and resolve commercial matters.
Maintain accurate project records and cost reports.
Ensure projects are completed within the approved budget.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in Singapore’s construction industry is preferred.
Good knowledge of construction contracts, costing and tender procedures.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and quantity-surveying software.
Strong numerical, analytical and negotiation skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
