About the role

Witflux Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Engineer to join our growing team in the Central Region. As aProject Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career development and advancement.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Coordinating and managing all aspects of construction projects, including team supervision, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
• Collaborating closely with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals
• Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track
• Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant safety, legal, and regulatory requirements
• Preparing and presenting detailed progress reports to project stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving continuous optimisation

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members
• Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
• Thorough understanding of construction processes, regulations, and safety protocols
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Experienced with HDB, Town council and Government
