Job Description:
Manage the procurement of fabrics, textile materials, accessories, packaging materials, and other supplies required for manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage purchasing activities according to production requirements.
Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, pricing, and reliability.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams on material requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply or quality issues.
Maintain purchasing records, quotations, and supplier information.
Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs and improve efficiency.
