Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation, dispensing and supply of medications, including chemotherapy and other oncology-related medications, in accordance with established procedures.
Support the safe handling, preparation and disposal of cytotoxic and other hazardous medications.
Maintain accurate medication records, treatment documentation, inventory records and ensure proper storage and stock management.
Work closely with pharmacists, doctors and nursing teams to ensure medications are prepared accurately and available in a timely manner for patient treatment.
Assist with pharmacy operations, medication reconciliation, clinical trial-related activities and other pharmacy duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy Technician certification, or equivalent qualification.
Relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably within an oncology, hospital, specialist clinic or healthcare setting.
