We seek a proactive, results-driven

Business Development Executive

to drive growth in the financial services sector. You will buildstrong relationships with clients, partners, and institutions to generate new business opportunities and strengthen our market presence.

Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities with clients and institutions in the financial services space

Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to sustain a steady pipeline

Represent the company at industry events and networking sessions to generate leads

Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients

Stay updated on financial products, market trends, and regulations to advise clients effectively

Track leads and opportunities via CRM, and report on sales performance and forecasts

Nurture existing client relationships to drive repeat and referral business

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred

Prior experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the financial services, banking, insurance, or wealth management industry is advantageous

Relevant certifications (e.g., CMFAS modules) preferred or a willingness to obtain them

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Confident, personable communicator with strong relationship-building skills across clients and stakeholders

Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Self-motivated, target-driven, and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and take initiative

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical, planning, and follow-through abilities

Sound understanding of financial products, markets, and regulatory requirements
