Job Description

• Execute processes, conduct testing, and manage the storage of cord blood units and core tissues in accordance with SOPs.
• Ensure precise data entry, perform daily quality control procedures, and oversee the maintenance of laboratory facilities and equipment.
• Process diagnostic products and coordinate their shipment using appropriate packaging and transport conditions.
• Manage the ordering of liquid nitrogen to maintain sufficient levels for storage.
• Attend to urgent or out-of-hours cases as needed, with overtime compensation provided.
• Assist in stem cell transfusion cases outside the station when required.
• Conduct general laboratory administration and inventory checks.
• Fulfil other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Requirements:

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this position.
• 1- 2 years of relevant laboratory experience will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques, haematology, or microbiology is advantageous.
• At least Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Hepatitis B immunization required or willingness to undergo vaccination.
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
