JOB SUMMARY:

Overall operation of stewarding department. Maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas i.e. kitchen floors, wall tiles, ceilings, cooking ranges and exhaust hood surfaces.

Duties & Responsibilities:

A Steward will assist to ensure high levels of cleanliness to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• To ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
• To ensure the proper set up of all side station in the outlet.
• Wash, wipe sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher.
• Wash, wipe sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organised safe manner.
• Clean and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures.
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• To ensure cleaning schedule is adhered to and to the required standard.
• To be able to communicate effectively.
• Cleans and maintains floors and walls in kitchen and dish washing area by following standard procedures.
• To ensure waste bin area in kept clean and tidy.
• If any breakages or chipped items found, then remove them from circulation and update the breakage and inform to supervisor to record.
• Report any maintenance or hazard issues to supervisor / Assistant chief steward.
• Assist in inventories, to store and issuance of equipment correctly.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
