What You'll Do

As a Human Resources Business Partner in Singapore, you will play an integral role in shaping the organisation’s people agenda. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve partnering with senior leaders to develop tailored workforce strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Partner with business and functional leaders to understand their priorities and develop relevant workforce strategies that address current and future needs.
  • Provide strategic HR advice and coaching across organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Support transformation and change initiatives such as business integration, restructuring, and evolving workforce requirements by collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Drive talent and performance management processes by identifying critical talent, capability gaps, and succession needs in partnership with leaders.
  • Advise managers on employee relations matters, performance issues, and other complex people concerns while ensuring compliance with company policies and local employment legislation.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams and business leaders on workforce planning and critical hiring requirements to ensure optimal staffing solutions.
  • Work closely with HR Centres of Excellence as well as regional or global People teams in areas including Talent, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and HR Operations.
  • Leverage people data and insights to identify workforce trends, support decision making, and recommend appropriate interventions for continuous improvement.
  • Implement regional and global HR programmes while adapting them to meet local business requirements effectively.
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation by acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders and contributing to broader People initiatives.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Business Partner role brings extensive experience from progressive HR positions within large-scale organisations. Your proven track record includes developing comprehensive people strategies that support both operational excellence and cultural transformation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline is required for this position.
  • Approximately 6 to 8 years of progressive HR experience with solid exposure operating in an HR Business Partner or equivalent capacity.
  • Strong generalist HR foundation covering talent management, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and organisational development.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior business stakeholders within complex organisations by building trust-based relationships.
  • Experience supporting transformation projects such as organisational change or business integration is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable working within matrixed environments—regional or multinational—and collaborating across different HR functions for shared outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Singapore employment practices and legislation ensures compliance in all HR activities.
  • Commercially minded approach enables you to understand business challenges and translate them into practical people solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills combined with stakeholder management abilities allow you to influence outcomes positively.
  • Experience within logistics, supply chain, industrial or infrastructure sectors is beneficial but not essential for success.
