Job Description
- Assemble and install electrical panels, components, motors, sensors, switches, cables, and safety devices.
- Perform correct wiring, crimping, labeling, grounding, and installation.
- Set and adjust electrical protection devices, controls, and input/output systems.
- Configure electrical controls for air, hydraulic, lubrication, and cooling systems when required.
- Test emergency stops, safety interlocks, switches, indicator lights, and other safety functions.
- Check motor/axis movement, sensor signals, feedback, alarms, and warning indicators.
- Support basic machine testing before final operation.Complete electrical inspection and quality records accurately.
-Identify wiring issues, loose connections, alarms, signal problems, sensor faults, and motor rotation issues.
-Follow electrical safety procedures, including lockout/tagout where required.
Requirements:
NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics or a related field, or equivalent practical electrical assembly experience.
Hands on experience in electrical assembly or electrical installation.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical drawings, perform electrical checks and adjustments, use basic electrical measuring instruments (e.g. multimeter) and understanding of electrical safety principles, grounding, and protection devices.
