We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator.

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Position: Project Coordinator

Contract: 2 Years (Extendable)

Working Hours: US Hours – Permanent Night Shift

Shift Allowance: Applicable

Public Holiday: Paid as applicable

Role Overview

The Project Coordinator will support the End User Computing (EUC) Operational Team in coordinating configuration services and custom client projects.

The role involves working closely with Project Management, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Customers to ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support custom and complex customer projects.
• Review customer documentation and create project profiles in Financial Force (FF).
• Submit and track projects through the engineering lifecycle.
• Coordinate project-specific part numbers and system configurations.
• Manage activities across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Program Management teams.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and escalations.
• Prepare regular project status updates and reports.
• Act as a key liaison between internal teams, Project Managers, Engineering, Sales, and customers.
• Participate in customer meetings and project planning sessions.
• Support project planning, scheduling, governance, quality assurance, and delivery.
• Identify issues and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Work with tools/systems such as DOMS, DellStar, FF, OFS, EBI, PET Tool, and FMT.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Project Coordination, Project/Program Management, Sales Operations, or similar roles.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good problem-solving and escalation management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Basic technical understanding of PC operating systems and deployment environments is an advantage.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• Diploma or equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Important

Candidates must be comfortable working US hours on a permanent night shift.
