New Maritime Pte. Ltd. is a leading Singaporean ship management and marine fuel logistics company, owning and operating our own fleet of bunker barges with our in-house team.
Job Description
Assist with invoice matching, verification, and supporting documentation.
Prepare payment schedules and supporting documents for payments to vendors and suppliers.
Assist in monthly account reconciliations by verifying transactions and supporting documentation.
Support month-end closing activities, including the compilation, filing, and maintenance of accounting records.
Liaise with customers, vendors and suppliers regarding invoices, payment status, and account-related queries.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Maintain and update filing systems, records, and databases.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure the timely completion of administrative and accounting tasks.
Manage stationery and office supply inventories.
Provide support for day-to-day office administration and general administrative operations (including preparing and issuing ad hoc Purchase Orders).
Perform other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications &Experience
A relevant qualification or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Words
Experience Sage, Xero or Odoo accounting software would be an advantage
Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and filing skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
