CC&B Java Developer

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CC&B Java Developer to join our team. This role combines expertise in Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) with strong Java development skills, enabling the candidate to deliver robust solutions for billing, customer care, and other critical functionalities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CC&B implementation, Java algorithms, and batch development, along with solid knowledge of Oracle’s Utility Application Framework (OUAF).

Key Responsibilities

• CC&B Implementation:
  • Lead or contribute to end-to-end CC&B implementations, leveraging strong knowledge of the CC&B Java framework.
  • Write Java algorithms, develop Java batches, and implement Java change handlers as required for the CC&B platform.
• Framework and Configuration:
  • Utilize proficiency in Oracle CC&B and OUAF framework to design, develop, and support CC&B applications.
  • Configure and customize CC&B using tools like Business Object (BO), Maintenance Object (MO), UI Map, Business Script, Service Script, BPA Script, Zones, and Portals.
• Technical Design and Development:
  • Create external designs and technical documentation for CC&B enhancements and customizations.
  • Conduct technical workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Additional Domain Knowledge:
  • Apply knowledge of finance processes, including reconciliation and journal posting, where relevant to the CC&B environment.
  • Adapt the CC&B product for applications beyond traditional utility domains as needed.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively in both written and oral formats with business and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6-8 years in Java development, with at least one end-to-end CC&B implementation.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Java and CC&B Java framework.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle CC&B and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
  • Proficiency in CC&B configuration tools (BO, MO, UI Map, Business Script, Service Script, BPA Script, Zones, Portals).
• Design and Workshop Facilitation: Ability to create technical and external design documents and conduct technical workshops.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with finance processes (reconciliation, journal posting) and experience adapting CC&B for different domains is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
