Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present food according to approved recipes and quality standards
Conduct pre-cooking checks and ensure raw materials meet food safety requirements
Portion, plate, pack, and provide quality service during serving
Collect food samples and operate/record hot holding cabinets and food warmers
Supervise kitchen assistants and guide food preparation as needed
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and workstations, adhering to hygiene and food safety SOPs
Demonstrate a growth mindset by being open to learning, improving processes, and supporting continuous kitchen improvement initiatives

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of working experience in a kitchen or similar role
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen SOPs
Positive attitude with a growth mindset, willing to learn and improve continuously
Physically able to carry heavy loads.
Must possess a valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1

Working hours: 6 days per week (including public holidays and weekends), 7am - 3pm
