We are working with a leading international law firm that is looking to hire a Junior M&A / Private Equity Associate to join its Hong Kong corporate team. The role is suited to either an NQ or a junior 1-2 PQE lawyer who has completed at least one seat in M&A, ideally with exposure to Private Equity transactions. The firm will also consider strong first-year associates with the right background and training.

The team advises on a range of cross-border M&A and Private Equity matters, working with financial sponsors, corporates, and institutional clients. The scope of work covers complex cross-border M&A transactions, minority investments, leveraged buyouts, growth capital, amongst others. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to build a long-term career in M&A / PE within a strong platform, with hands-on training provided, and an excellent culture.

The firm is looking for candidates with strong academic credentials, good technical training, and a clear interest in Private Equity and corporate transactions. Prior exposure to sponsor-side work would be advantageous but is not essential.
