About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI Engineer Intern to join our team. As an AI Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, gain hands-on experience with software development, and contribute to the creation of innovative solutions. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates with a passion for AI Engineering and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support testing and validation of extraction results across different document types
• Assist in prompt engineering and AI extraction tuning
• Analyse extraction failures and edge cases
• Help prepare datasets for benchmarking and evaluation
• Research OCR, LLMs, chunking, indexing, and document processing techniques
• Support regression testing for model and pipeline improvements
• Work with AI Engineers and Product teams on client-specific issues and enhancements

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of software development concepts and principles, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in software development, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++, and familiarity with web development frameworks and technologies.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex problems, debug issues, and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
